Active Candidates

An Active Candidate is a type of candidate who is actively looking for a job. It is not necessary that the active candidate is unemployed but it can either be employed or unemployed. This category of a candidate may look for a new job under the following circumstances;

• They want to take more responsibility
• Their work was outsourced
• Their employer faces loss and went out of business
• They doubt their current employer’s stability

Approx 25% of the employed population falls under this ‘Active Candidate’ category because they are constantly in search of better opportunities in their career and proactively trying to reach the next level. Active candidates are managed via an agency or in-house team’s applicant tracking system (ATS).
